Picture this
Your workday starts without a line of impatient clients in a noisy lobby. You and your technician load up a fully equipped mobile clinic, head into the community, and provide one-on-one care in pets' own homes. You have time to talk to clients, give thorough exams, and enjoy practicing veterinary medicine again.
Why you'll love it here
- True work-life balance: Monday–Friday, no nights, no weekends, no on-call.
- Quality over quantity: 6–7 homes per doctor per day means more time for care and education.
- Fully equipped mobile practice: digital radiography including dental, comprehensive anesthesia monitoring, in-house lab, telemedicine, mobile ultrasound, and mobile CT access.
- Supportive team: we cover each other for vacations, family needs, and unexpected life.
- Low-stress culture: NOMV CLEAR Blueprint + Low-Stress Handling certified.
What you'll do
- Provide high-quality preventive, diagnostic, surgical, hospice/palliative, and client education-focused care in a mobile setting.
- Build lasting client relationships through empathy and clear communication.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team that values flexibility, shared goals, and excellent medicine.
- Help pets receive calmer, more personalized care at home.
How mobile is different from brick-and-mortar
No packed lobby
Your day is route-based and planned — not built around walk-ins, lobby bottlenecks, and constant room turnover.
Patients are calmer
Pets avoid the car-to-lobby-to-exam-room stress spiral. You often get better behavior, better histories, and better client buy-in.
Appointments go deeper
Fewer appointments per day means more time for a full story, detailed education, and case planning.
Still real medicine
Mobile is not just vaccines and euthanasia. We see case variety, perform diagnostics, surgery, anesthesia, imaging, chronic care, geriatric care, and hospice/palliative medicine.
Clients are glad to see you
House-call clients are typically prepared, appreciative, and motivated to do what is best for their pets.
Teamwork is tighter
You work closely with your technician and support team, with fewer handoffs and more continuity for each client and patient.
